3DBaz Exclusive – As we told you before, INOTEX 2017 had been held in May 23 – 26 at Tehran International Fairground.
This event became more glorious, by EOS participation; experienced German based company with a wide range of industrial 3D Printers and additive manufacturing solutions.
There was an interesting meeting on Wednesday at 11 to 13, performed by EOS Area Sales Manager, Yusuf Uzumcu, and Hannes Fuchshofer, As FUCHSHOFER Company CEO.
They appeared to be one of the old partners of EOS.
Worth mentioning, managers of some domestic manufacturers in Iran like iDesign, Noura Imprinting Layers, 3DFast, 3DIACO and etc. had participated in this meeting as well, showing a clear proof of this conference importance.
First, Hannes Fuchshofer talked about FUCHSHOFERhistory and its efforts on manufacturing devices with different applications like CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Ultrasonic and Additive Manufacturing.
then he explained some of 3D Printing applications.
After that, Yusuf Uzumcu, Area Sales Manager of EOS, got the stage. First, He had a speech on their various services with AM and focused on its applications in medical and aerospace industry. Then, He introduced the audience EOS’s SLS and SLM based 3D Printers. Uzumcu explained more about EOS materials which are 15 different types of polymer powder for SLS and 16 kinds of metal alloy powder like Titanium, Aluminium, Nickel and etc. for SLM machines.
Also he played a video about working process of their devices. Yusuf pointed at an enormous achievement that demonstrated the big role of SLM on automotive industry. Meanwhile, what was once consisted of 20 parts, is now just one single piece as a fuel nozzle by SLM 3D Printing, which is great!
At the end, EOS highlighted its level of warranty and costumer support and services.
Clarifying there is a one year of training course for their servicemen before starting the job. In addition, not only there will be no outsourcing for services, but also all provided locally.
EOS is now a company with many costumers like BMW, Audi, Ford and etc. all over the world. But it remains a question in mind, that can it be a successful corporation in Middle East market and a country like Iran?
