3DBaz– Couple of months ago we found out Iran’s first AM symposium is going to take place at May, instead of early days of 2017.
But changes are still happening and the surprising news came afterwards.
Not only we have another date change, but also the symposium is now a part of a more immersive event called Iran 3DShow 2017.
The aforementioned event will be held at May 1st to 3rd at Iran International Conference Center in Tehran.
It is consisted of 3 main divisions: Best Iranian 3D Printer competition, 3D Printing Exhibition and 3D Printing talks.
We assume that AM symposium will be a part of 3DP Talks.
The source website says:
Talks will be showcase of AM scientific advancements in global scales and it will introduce Iranian contributors and their achievements.
Also it is mentioned that all speeches panels & events inside will be covered online via video streaming networks.
Talking about exhibitions. 3DShow intends to generalize AM technology in everyday life.
By implementing festivals and showrooms, opportunities will be available to be observed by everyone.
Collaboration and idea sharing could be other outcomes of this exhibit.
Here you can see the initial map of the participant’s booths:
Last but not least: the most exciting section is the 3D Printing competition.
Competitors will challenge their machines in 3 separate fields: FDM, DLP/SLA & SLS/SLM/BinderJet.
After some investigation in the website, we reached the fact that there would be no SLS/SLM/BinderJet challenge since the number of domestic machines is too low.
Other nominees will be selected as the Best of the 2017.
Standards for choosing the best machines is defined thanks to latest researches in 3D Printing.
This is in not the end, because the ultimate stage is named “The Scaled Printed Model Challenge”.
At this game changing section, the nominees will print their biggest and the most accurate model, which is absolutely a large model.
Printing process must be observable inside the challenge, but in case it was printed outside, providing evidence that proves the structure is printed by the selected 3D Printer is mandatory.
For any technological event, International feedback is a critical subject.
But we have no idea if 3DShow would attract numerous global enthusiast.
As we found AM Symposium website’s content management extremely novice, Iran 3DShow lack any other language coverage except Farsi.
Web design is better and more interesting, but still there are weaknesses.
Online registration for audience is covered by Evand.com. You can register here.
3DBaz will do its best to cover this event as accurate as we can.
We advise our Event’s staff to be more organized and set some futuristic goals to receive worldwide feedback.
Until now, we are not sure there is any other independent media agencies.
We hope this event would be held annually, but at least without date changes! Let’s wait for May. So until then, stay tuned with 3DBaz!
