Here’s what we expect from Iran’s first Symposium of Additive Manufacturing; Challenges and opportunities (held on May 9-10th)

3DBaz– It’s great to hear that finally Iran is officially taking impressing steps toward Additive Manufacturing and other advanced methods of making.
That’s why we found out a Symposium called “Additive Manufacturing; Challenges and opportunities” is going to be held at May 9th and 10th 2017 at Tehran.

At first, the date was on the beginning of the January.
But according to the statements of official website, date had been changed due to invite more people, sponsors, academical and industrial activists to this event.
This decision was really a wise one since we ourselves at 3DBaz weren’t aware of this important event.

The topics are various.
Since 3D Printing is the core of AM, we can notice there must be interesting and efficient talks among spokesmen and contributors.
As you search through the symposium’s website, you can see the scientific articles include “Introduction of AM, Aerospace and Military, Automotive, Tooling, Medicine, Gold and Jewelry, Architecture and Building”.

You can’t find anything more special than the spokesmen, Date and Place, Sponsorship and those topics we just mentioned.
We fund the website nearly amateur because there is no English version, the topics are incomplete and the design quite weak.
We don’t know the reason.
Maybe they tend to attract less audience!
The very first executive organization is Islamic Azad University of Science and Research branch.
This University is one the biggest and creditable academic schools of Iran.
It has more than 50000 students and covers a huge area of Tehran.
Yet still, our questions still remains unanswered.
Beside these points, these people are mentioned as Scientific/Executive committee:

Another bold point of sponsorship we found out is that there were 5 to 15 minutes of time for speaking was provided to the 3rd parties’ participants.
But there is no such option in the new sheets of registration.
We will ask about this and share our thoughts after we get enough information.
